Who We Are

Information We Collect

We collect and use the information needed to provide the app:

• Photos you choose to upload. The app sends the selected selfie or photo to our server so your requested AI portrait can be generated. The photo may include face data because the app is designed to preserve the person's likeness in the finished portrait.
• Portrait choices and generated portraits. We process the costume style, portrait format, job status, generated image, thumbnail and related portrait history.
• Account and session information. The app creates a device session so free renders, credits and portrait history can work. If you use Sign in with Apple, we receive an Apple identity token and, if Apple provides it, your name and email address.
• Purchase information. Purchases are handled by Apple. We receive transaction and product identifiers so we can verify purchases and update your portrait credits. We do not receive your payment card details.
• Notifications. If you allow notifications, we may store an Apple Push Notification token so we can send portrait status updates.
• Support information. If you contact us, we receive the information you include in your message, such as your email address, device details and issue description.
• Technical logs. Our servers may process standard technical information such as request times, IP address, app requests and error logs to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service.

Face Data

What face data we collect. We collect the photo you choose to upload for a portrait. That photo may contain a visible face, facial features, skin tone, expression, hair and pose. We do not collect Face ID data, depth maps, faceprints, biometric templates or mathematical face identifiers.

How we use face data. We use the uploaded photo and visible facial features only to create the AI portrait you request, keep the person recognisable in the generated image, show render progress, display the finished portrait in your portrait history, let you save or share it, support deletion and troubleshoot service issues. We do not use face data to identify you, authenticate you, track you across apps or websites, train advertising profiles or make decisions about you.

Sharing and storage. Uploaded photos, generated portraits and thumbnails are stored in private object storage and linked to your app session or account in our server database. We share face data only with service providers needed to run the app: hosting and storage providers, AI image generation providers that process the image to create the requested portrait, Apple services for app features and purchase verification, and support infrastructure if you contact us. We do not sell face data and we do not share it with third-party advertisers or data brokers.

Retention. Uploaded source photos are automatically deleted from object storage after 24 hours. Generated portraits and thumbnails are kept so your portrait history, downloads and support requests can work. Generated portraits and thumbnails are retained until you delete the portrait in the app or ask us to delete account-related data, unless we need to keep limited records for abuse prevention, security or legal compliance. When you delete a portrait in the app, the portrait record is removed and the related uploaded photo, generated image and thumbnail are scheduled for deletion from object storage. Backup copies may remain for a limited period as part of routine system backups before they expire.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

• create, store, display, download and delete your AI portraits;
• manage free renders, credits, purchase verification and account access;
• send portrait status notifications if you have allowed notifications;
• respond to support requests and investigate problems;
• keep the app and server reliable, secure and protected from abuse.

For users in the UK or EEA, our lawful bases are performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, consent where required for optional permissions, and compliance with legal obligations.

Sharing Information

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use your information for third-party advertising tracking. We share information only as needed to run the app, including with hosting, storage, AI image generation, purchase verification, Apple services and support infrastructure providers.

Photos and AI Portraits

Your uploaded photo is used to create the portrait you request. Generated portraits may be kept so you can view, save, share and delete them from your portrait history. Uploaded photos are sanitised before storage, including removing image metadata where practical. You should only upload photos that you have the right to use.

Retention and Deletion

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the app, maintain portrait history, resolve support issues, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. Uploaded source photos are automatically deleted from object storage after 24 hours. Generated portraits and thumbnails are retained until you delete the portrait in the app or ask us to delete account-related data, unless limited retention is needed for abuse prevention, security or legal compliance. You can also contact us to request deletion of account-related data.

Your Choices

• You can choose not to sign in with Apple.
• You can deny camera, photo library or notification permissions in iOS settings.
• You can contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your personal information.
• If you are in the UK or EEA, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing, request portability or complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

The app is not intended for children under 13. Do not upload photos of children unless you are their parent or guardian and have the right to do so.

International Processing

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when the app or our practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
